Medicare Plans

Medicare Supplement (MediGap):

For those who are on Medicare, you know that it covers only about 80% of your Part B expenses. A Medicare Supplement plan helps you pay a portion of the remaining 20% you would otherwise have to pay out-of-pocket. These plans allow people to choose their own doctor, hospital or health facility, as well as see specialists without referrals for a monthly premium.

Medicare Advantage Plans:

Primary insurers work with the federal government to administer Medicare Advantage plans. These plans have become an affordable alternative to Medicare (replaces Part A, Part B and sometimes Part D.) These plans often include additional benefits, such as vision, dental and wellness programs that Medicare doesn’t provide. Many Medicare Advantage plans also include your prescription drug coverage (Part D), eliminating your need for a separate prescription drug plan.

Prescription Drug Plans:

Prescription drug coverage is a vital part of a Medicare healthcare plan.  Part D prescription drug coverage is only available from private insurance companies with a Medicare contract.  This coverage can be purchased as a separate stand-alone policy you buy in addition to regular Medicare and/or a Medicare Supplement plan, or is available as part of a Medicare Advantage plan. Using a list of your current prescriptions, we can easily select the Part D plan that is right for you.
